Rise and Shine

Eleanor loves when we have company and cannot help but to sit outside the guest bedroom door waiting for someone to rise. She keeps following Lisa around everywhere with her tail going bonkers. So cute. (I’m a little biased.) Here’s some shots of them having a special moment.

Today is a complete wash out so our plans to shop the streets of Boston have now shit the bed. Lisa is bound and determined to hit up this vintage consignment shop, Second Time Around so we’ll be strapping on our rain boots for that trip. We had planned to work out this morning but decided not to since the rain ruined our outside run. (This makes 3 days of no work-out for me.)  For the last two hours we’ve been chilin on the couch, drinking coffee and blogging away. Good times. The boys are still snug in their beds snoozing.

We are VERY serious bloggers

For breakfast I plan to have something light since we’ll be eating two heavy meals today. For lunch we are going to a Mexican restaurant called, The Border Cafe. There are tons and tons of choices, most of them aren’t healthy but we’ll make do just fine. Len used to work at Borders so we get hooked up with a table pretty quick. Otherwise, it’s a long wait since they are always crazy busy. I’m still waiting on recommendations for restaurants in the North End. I browsed some menus but nothing looked fabulous. Help!!???!

  1. Hmmm. Do you want someplace kinda casual or more dressy?

Antico Forno was really good for a more casual atmosphere. Mare is supposed to be amazing. Something Monica is supposed to be really good too. Carmen, Mamma Maria … All very tasty options!
