I received some unknown items in my Boston Organics delivery and need your help. I believe one is a watermelon radish and one is a turnip. Which one is which? As far as the watermelon rats radishes go, do you eat the skin? Those tails creep me out.

And I got a purple carrot?? Quite strange.

  2. Yes, you can eat the skin of the radish, the same as the red one, I grew what was called the rainbow pack of Radish’s this year.

As for the carrots, again color is in, they now offer them in orange, yellow, white, and purple.. its nice to add that different colors to your salads or stirfry’s.. enjoy them..

  3. I think “purple carrot” is a euphemism for something.

  4. Beauty heart radish is on the right :). You definitely want to peel the skin off before you eat it though.

  5. The Watermelon “rat”-dish looks like it is from Super Mario Brothers 2.

    That’s my 2 cents.

Enjoy Thanksgiving! I hope to see ya next week!!!!!!!
