  1. Dear Lindsay . . . you are a goof. I love your blog and, my dear, you’re hardly heavy. You’re perfect. Keep running and you’ll be fine!! Trust me when I trained for my first marathon I thought why not, we get to go to Ireland and get skinny training!! Well, I was wrong, I didn’t get skinny, but I was extremely heathly. The best part about the training was the bagels after our long walks!!

  2. Hey Lindsay,

    Just want to let you know I have been reading this when I remember to check it and think it is awesome. It has been making me think a little more too and today I weighed myself for the first time in probably a year. I was a good 10 pounds heavier then I thought, I hate weighing myself. I am hoping to loose a good ten pounds and hope I can do it! Keep writing, its interesting, great info and funny! Good luck!

  4. just think you’re still down 2lbs from your first weigh in a month ago. remember weight does flucuate!! plus it can’t be healthy to drop weight so fast! you definately seem to be on the right track. just stay positive!

  5. Wow…we have the same height and weight and goals….I just started my blog and on the way to goal as well. Good Luck to you. Sometimes I find this a lonely journey in reaching goal weight, but since I had discovered blogging and all the inspirational women on here I think this IS THE TIME!!! Cheers to life and love!

  6. Although I think keeping track of your weight it, it is important to remember that this is not the important thing. You need to get you healthy and your body will find the right weight for you. (I have only recently felt like having a weigh-in isn’t my top priority so I’m not saying it’s easy!)

    • You’re right! I think it’s a great tool if you don’t let emotions get overly involved. I’ve been contemplating ONLY stepping on the scale on Saturdays.

  8. Hey Lindsey!

    I just wanted to let you know, I have vowed to read your blog everyday because I feel you will motivate me in my healthy eating choices. You are exactly what I need! Im getting married in 8 months, and need to drop a good 15 pounds. im 5’4 and a yucky 153 pounds….on a good day. Since meeting my fiance ive gained 25 just lost 11 pounds now i need to lose another 15 to feel satisfied. Thanks for keeping my butt motivated!
